Power BI Fundamentals Tutorial

doSQLBI.com is the blog site for publishing of SQL BI related contents, preferably in the form of short screencast videos. I am Nasir Ali Mirza with over 15 years of experience in software development. My passion lies in data analysis. Microsoft has come a long way to democratize BI in the real sense and made data analysis in the reach of small to medium enterprises.

I was part of the Database and BI practice at Microsoft Global Services for about 3 years and worked with some wonderful people and very large Microsoft global customers. I have been a presenter at Microsoft TechReady and a contributor to other SQL Server communities. My credentials include being MCP since 1999 and having certifications in MCTS WCF, MCP 2.0, MCSD, MCTS SQL BI, MCTS SQL DEV and MCITP SQL.

AIS started its offshore development center in India in the year 2008, and I left Microsoft to join them in the year 2009. When I joined there were about 20 employees at the offshore location, today we are 120 plus. It has been a great experience to develop the offshore center at Hyderabad, India which has a significant presence of almost all the major global IT companies. My job at AIS comprises delivering the projects and developing the offshore capabilities.
