Business Analysts continue to explore opportunities to identify how our client and corresponding technology capabilities can continually evolve on the emerging needs of the business and its members.
With the changing times, many organizations are embarking on their digital transformation, intending to be reachable to customers by providing online services and information. The design principles are adopted to create a highly scalable, resilient, and performant capability that serves both current and future anticipated needs for the client. Integrated design tools enable the reduction of project design deliverables, a faster and more collaborative review process, and the reuse of design components.
As someone had rightly said, you can’t solve the problem until you are asking the right question.
The above quote applies to both professionals, Business Analyst, and Business Analytics. Their quality of work depends on how much deep diving they have done on understanding the business. The appreciation of their work lies in the intricate detail that they gather throughout the analysis. The terms, Business Analyst and Business Analytics are often interchangeably used, but they differ in the way they work. So, it is inevitable to ask, how many of you play both the roles simultaneously?
I was the lead BA in a project where our client was one of the preeminent telecommunication company in Australia. The biggest project that I ever worked in was this one. I was fortunate enough to be part of it due to which my learning graph grew. The growth that I experienced was on many different levels. It was quite an engaging process in all its lengths and breaths. I was part of the project from the very beginning until the go-live. Since it was a large scale project, many teams collaborated, and it created a perfect opportunity to be a good team player. Working with so many different individuals is the best part of the job. There are a lot of learnings you can give and take in this process.
Almost half of this year, most of us have spent while working from home.To effectively work from home, we must reduce distractions.Activities that are a regular part of our day might at times disrupt our focus from work.
Although Digital Business Analyst’s have varied skillsets, a few tools and techniques are always handy and could be put to great use irrespective of the BA’s profile.
