Microfocus UFT (Unified Functional Testing) is a testing tool for testing software applications & environments automatically. UFT is a VB scripting based software application to write test cases and automate tests. This course is focused on enlighting participants with knowledge on UFT and familiarizing them with VB scripting.

- Dive-deeply into the UFT application
- Understand various features of UFT application starting with Record & Playback and Languages & Platforms supported by UFT
- Learn VB scripting and write scripts with basic input and output statements, variables, constants, data types, variant types, Control Statements like if statement and case statement for loops
- Understand arrays, functions and objects
- Learn what is an Object and object repository, difference between different types of objects and types of object repositories
- Learn to identify object in each application and its properties
- Understand descriptive programming and use it to identify the object not in the repository
- Understand what is a data table and learn how to read and write information into a data table
- Know the connection between a data base and a data table and use it to connect and read/write information in a database
- Learn to implement framework to UFT application
